There seems to be a lot of old churches that are no longer used along the stretch of US-70 around Boswell to Bennington.
This old country church is mentioned in some on-line obituaries, including one from 2004; but otherwise no other useful information on the web; not even when it was last used. It has a graveyard (churchyard cemetery) which has its own name: Mayhew Cemetery. Its sign is still out along North 4020 Road. The lane to the church itself is known as East 2035 Road.
