Carruthers Memorial Park, and this Lewis and Clark sign, are on Hwy 104, the route from Astoria to Fort Stevens State Park.
There is a map showing the route the Corps took, and the write-up asks us to imagine the land as it was before rivers were dammed, roads built, and prairie plowed under.
There is also an off-leash dog park here.
