This brace of red K6 phone boxes are on the north west side of Epping High Street close to the junction with Buttercross lane.

Both boxes are in good condition. The paintwork still has a bit of a shine and the glazing is intact but has a white tinge to it. Both boxes are clean within.

The boxes are Garde II listed with the entry at the English Heritage website telling us:

Pair of K6 Telephone Kiosks. Type K6. Designed 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Made by various contractors. Cast iron. Square kiosks with domed roofs. Unperforated crowns to top panels and margin glazing to windows and doors.
