The the current 247 m long and 24 m wide five-arch Vauxhall bridge was built at the site of loder one in 1898-1906 according to project by Sir Alexander Binnie. This interesting bridge is decorated by eight beautiful bronze female statues symbolising Pottery, Engineering, Architecture and Agriculture upstream, and Science, Fine Arts, Local Government and Education downstream modelled by Alfred Drury and Frederick William Pomeroy.
