This pair of boxes appear to be here for nostalgic purposes only as they do not appear to be maintained nor do they have phones. The word "telephone" at the top of the boxes has been removed but can still be made out. The paint is faded and the glazing, in each box, is missing a panel.
The boxes are Grade II listed with the entry at the English heritage website (http://list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1064213) telling us:
K6 Telephone Kiosks outside No 11 Bourne Road. Type K6. Designed 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Made by various contractors. Cast iron. Square kiosks with domed roofs. Unperforated crowns to top panels and margin glazing to windows and door.
