The box is not in the best of condition. The paintwork is "tired" and the glazing is incomplete with the door having two of the larger panels and the connecting glazing bar missing. The rest of the glazing is dirty and/or scratched.

The box is Grade II listed with the entry at the English Heritage website telling us:

K6 Telephone Kiosk GV II 2. Type K6. Designed 1935 by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott. Made by various contractors. Cast iron. Square kiosk with domed roof. Unperforated crowns to top panels and margin glazing to windows and door.

Colour: It's red!

Is it in its original position?: Yes

Is there a working telephone in it?: Yes
