The boxes are in good condition both inside and out. The red paint has lost a little of its gloss and the glazing of both boxes is complete and clean.
The boxes are Grade II listed with the entry at the English Heritage website telling us:
Pair of K6 Telephone Kiosks on island side at junction 21.5.87 with Ebury Street GV II Pair of telephone kiosks. 1935. By Giles Gilbert Scott. Cast iron. Intact square kiosks of K6 type with domed roof, unperforated crowns to top panels and margin glazing to windows and doors.
The entry has a map that shows the boxes being closer to the junction of the two roads at the apex of the island. This indicates that the boxes have been moved since the listing was created.
