Esaan Thai Restaurant - York, PA - Gluten Free Restaurants on Waymarking.com

In downtown York, along Beaver Street, is the Esaan Thai Restaurant, which has many tasty gluten free offerings on their menu.

The restaurant is located on the west side of N. Beaver Street, about a block north of the intersection with W. Market Street. There is an oval sign for the restaurant by the entrance.

We happened to be staying in York at the time. Esaan was listed on a web site listing gluten-free restaurants. In short, after exhausting a couple other choices closer to the hotel, we made our way here and were rewarded with a great meal.

The place is small, despite occupying two parts to a first floor. The room we entered had the gelato bar and the waiting area. Directly behind is the kitchen. To the left is the dining area with a cozy arrangement of tables and chairs. There is no separate menu for gluten-free; however, the gluten-free options are clearly marked. Ordered was the veggies with peanut sauce which was deemed excellent. Most of the gelato options were gluten-free as well.

We liked it so much the first time, we went again the second time. Pad-thai was ordered the second time and it was also very good.

The service was great - the staff was very knowledgeable, and we even got to meet the owners on the second visit.
