This is the town hall of Fürth, Germany, Bayern. It is also presented on a German stamp.
The town hall was built 1840-1850 by plans of Friedrich Bürklein. It is built in a classic design. The 52 meter high square tower, the landmark of Fürth is imitating the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
The stamp was issued by the local post agency 'NordbayernPost'. The year of issue is unknown. It's one several stamps showing objects around Nürnberg.
