"X" chiseled on a 1'x 1'x 1' tall rock outcrop.

From the parking area at Todd Lake, off Cascade Lakes Highway west of Bend, travel generally NE on FR370 for about 4.3 miles. The angle point is uphill about 260' N of the road. There is a LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign mounted on a bent-to-the-ground U-post which bears E, 3' distant. Found two mountain hemlocks with scribed blazes and yellow BEARING TREE tags.

In the legal description of the Three Sisters Wilderness and in survey CS14362, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office, the location is described as "...200 feet northwesterly from and perpendicular to the centerline of USFS Road No. 4600-370 and 1000 feet northerly from and perpendicular to the centerline of the northerly fork of the Middle Fork of Tumalo Creek."
