Sony Center is one of four modern buildings defining the skyline of Berlin's business center at Potsdam Square.

The shape of the building's roof is an engineering marvel, resembling Japan's holy mountain, Mount Fuji. According to Shintoist believes, holy spirits called Kami reside on mountain tops. Since Berlin does not have any real hills, the roof serves as mountain, giving a home to spirits protecting Sony and other Japanese business in Berlin.

No matter from where one looks at the roof - from the top of nearby Kollhoff-Tower or from inside the center, it always looks impressive.

We did, however, missed taking a good shot of the entire building, which is why the picture above is borrowed from brynosaurus.com.

All other pictures are ours.
