Located at Hyatt Reservoir is a man-made dam. There's not too much spectacular about this dam other than it provides a nice view of Keene Creek below. This man-made reservoir was built in 1923 by the local irrigation district to provide adequate irrigation for farmers and ranchers in Jackson County.

Hyatt Reservoir is popular for campers and fishermen during the summer months. The lake allows boats but at a controlled 10 mph speed and NO jet skis or water-skiing is allowed.

You can read the details of this dam on the BLM website here.
