New fountain installed on Masaryk' square in Brandys nad Labem during recent remodelling of the square is called Rudolph's fountain. The name should remind the fact that Rudolph II, Holy Roman Emperor during his reign spent a lot of time, as the castle in the town was his "summer residence". The "sculpture" in the centre of circular pool should remind a famous fictional character closely connected to Rudolph - Golem - an animated anthropomorphic being, magically created entirely from inanimate matter. The most famous Golem is said to be created by Judah Loew ben Bezalel, the late-16th-century rabbi of Prague, just on Rudoplph 2nd court. Total height of the Golem is 3.85 meteres, and his gilded head has 0.9 meters in diameter. The author of the statue is Czech sculptor Antonín Kašpar and authir of the fountain is Olga Kantová. The fountain was dedicated on October 2012.

V ríjnu 2012 bylo v Brandýse nad Labem otevreno nove zrekonstruované Masarykovo námestí. Centrum mesta oživila mj. také nová kašna, která svým provedením a stredovou sochou složenou ze základních astronomických obrazcu pripomíná dobu císare Rudolfa II., který v Brandýse casto pobýval. Výrazným a provokativním prvkem je socha ve stredu kašny, která má predstavovat postavu Golema, známé fiktivní postavy,kterou údajne koncem 16. století stvoril židovský rabín Jehuda Löw ben Becalel v pražském židovském ghettu. Úcelem jeho stvorení mela být ochrana židovského ghetta pred krestany, kterí pravidelne ghetto napadali. Mohutná kovová postava o výšce 3,85 metru zaujme každého. Pozlacená koule, která tvorí hlavu „Golema“, má prumer 0.9 metru a soustreduje na sebe pozornost. Autori kašny s centrálním prvkem ( architektka Olga Kantová , akademický sochar Antonín Kašpar) se snažili pripomenout období Rudolfa II.
