Hyde park with Serpentine lake belong among the most beloved places for recreation in London' centre. Serpentine is also ideal site for rowing and in 2002 it hosted the World Rowing Sprints, in which several international crews raced over 547 yards (500 m). So, the local boat rental looks as very profitable bussiness here, despite the really high prices of hire...

The new Boat House, operated by BlueBird Boats Ltd., was completed in Hyde Park in May 2008 and was the first new building to be built in Hyde Park in over 50 years.

Adult: £10 (30 min) / £12 (1 hour) Child (under 15): £4 (30 min) / £5 (1 hour) Family (2 adults + 2 children): £24 (30 min) / £29 (1 hour) No deposit.

Season and Hours of Operation:
The Boating Lake is open from Easter (usually late March) until October 31. Times are from 10.00 a.m. until sundown which is around 4.00 p.m. in the winter and 8.00 p.m. in the summer.
