The TTC utilized the famous "Red Rocket" streetcars from the 1940's until thjey were replaced starting in the late 2000's. The last of these style streecar was officially retired in 2011.
The streetcar on display and used as a diner at Super Burger was serial number 4341.The famous TTC emblem was still evident.
Although used as a diner, the car has fallen into an advanced state of disrepair. Corrosion, faded and obliterated paint and other repair work is evident. The diner was in place from 1990 until 2015. However, maintenance was prohibitive and the car was sold for scrap.
Another victim of Father Time.
