The Amaranth Lion is another in the growing list of tree sculptures. Carved by local artist Jim Menken, it is located across the street from the Town Hall on Broadway.
The carving features a male lion sitting, with a male and female lion carved into the backside of the lion.
Unlike many of the carvings in Orangeville, this one was sponsored by and fully paid for by the Amaranth Lions club.
