The official opening times for the park are from 8am to dusk. However, to allow access to park facilities, the park gates are opened every day at 6.30am and are closed again at 10.30pm. It is assumed that boat hire is only available during the "official" hours.

A map of the park can be seen here. As the map shows, the lake is an irregular shape so there is plenty of scope to practice manoeuvring a hired craft!

The prices posted on-site are shown below but the website shows higher prices (add £1). Half hour rental: Adult £6 Child £3 Family £15 Hour rental: Adult £8 Child £4 Family £20 No deposit.
