The Keremeos fire hall is on the northeast edge of town, right on the Crowsnest Highway, at Sixth Avenue.

Went out in the evening to get some pix around the town and discovered the fire department outside washing and servicing the fleet. This, the first of the fleet, is labelled Rescue 1. It is a 2006 Freightliner M2 four door club cab with a Hub conversion. This is one serious rescue vehicle, large enough to carry all the rescue doodads and equipment they could possibly need, short of a helicopter.

These conversions are built by HUB in Abbotsford, (in partnership with Freightliner and American LaFrance) who build these as well as pumpers for fire departments across Canada and into the US.
