...which is where Rattlesnake Canyon enters the scene. Built along Highway 3 (5502 Main Street) as it passes through the eastern end of the city, it's a nice, fairly new park with enough to keep the bored entertained for the whole afternoon.
Inside the park is a well appointed arcade with lots of variety in the style and type of games available. I can see many kids blowing their entire allowance in here. Once in the park (admission is free), look for the rock climbing wall. The arcade is immediately adjacent to it, sort of inside the wall, actually. Within are some retro games, such as air hockey and pinball and dozens of newer video games of all sorts.
If one gets tired of gaming, there are plenty of other diversions to be found here - Go Kart track, Mini Golf, an Ice Cream Parlour in an authentic Windmill that features 48 flavors of ice cream, Bumper Boats, a Tumble Whirl, Tornado, Bungee Tree, a 35 foot Rock Climbing Wall, Gift Store, Tattoo Parlour, and a Concession Stand.
