This bridge is a stone bridge with a single segmental arch and voussoirs. It is a Grade II English Heritage
listed building.
The listing indicates that it was rebuilt in the 19th Century and indeed if you look under the arch whilst standing next to Eller Beck it is possible to see a join where the bridge has been modified and widened.
Eller Beck is a small stream that runs close and parallel with Springs Canal.
