The major battle of Austro-Prussian war (
visit link) was preceded by several other military clashes and minor skirmishes and battles. These skirmishes had their own victims and this victims has own a monuments.

This is the memorial of the victims of The Battle of Trautenau [CZ: Trutnov] (
visit link) . It was fought on June 27, 1866. It was the only battle of the war that ended in an Austrian victory over the Prussians, but at a large cost.

Tento pomník je venován obetem bitvy u Trutnova. Pouze v této bitve slavila vítezství rakouská armáda, avšak za velkou cenu.
Pomník z pískovce na hrobu majora Lipošcaka. Telesné pozustatky byly r. 1995 exhumovány a preneseny do Janské kaple.
Nápisy: Hier fiel und ruht Anton Lipošcak, k.k. Major des Inf.-Reg. Nro.24. "+ 27.Juni 1866".
Nahore vzadu: Památce Karla Mrovce kadeta peš. pluku c. 24. Zastrelen v kapli pri obrane svého težce zraneného velitele majora Lipošcaka. Pod tím: Errichtet vom Centralvereine zur erhaltung der Kriegerdenkmale v. J. 1866 in Böhmen 1895. Na podstavci vzadu: Entvorfen von Dir. W. Dokoupil."
Pozn. ceský nápis byl doplnen konzervátorem vojenských památek št.kpt. Bohuslavem Peterkou po roce 1945.
