There is no suggestion of a relationship between these two men, whose monuments are atop adjacent plots. Mr. Martin's inscription is:

T.M. Martin

July 6, 1877,
Feb. 21, 1917.

---

Mr. Rippy's monument is actually a cenotaph, and it says:

Conrad
Ripp

Feb. 6, 1896
May 24, 1918

Buried At
Sea On Way
to France
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
