We are a new charity aiming to fill a desperate need for bereaved families who have lost a close relative in Iraq or Afghanistan, or while serving with-in these times.
We are the only charity to our knowledge offering hands-on practical support in the UK and up till now we have used our staff and volunteers to carry out a number of practical support projects.
The work we carry out is general maintenance, the things the lost family member would have done for his or her family. These sometimes small jobs amplify the grief of a loved one passing.
It is our aim to put practical support workers into all parts of the UK over the next 5 years and these will be made up of professional general builders and maintenance men/women. They will be trained to work with volunteers who will provide much appreciated help and support.
