Data obtained from the OS website...

Square: TQ
Easting: 3328
Northing: 8284
Mark Type: Cut Mark
Description: GT P WALL JUNC S SIDE HOXTON HO E SIDE HOXTON ST W FACE
Height: 19.0560m

The mark is cut into two courses of bricks. The lower course appears to be a harder, more dusrable brick than the upper one and this is reflected in the mark. The datum line has just about disappeared due to the face of the brick breaking away. The same is true of the top of the arrow that has "gone". The lower part of the arrow, cut into the harder brick, is still, generally, in good condition.
