Trochu has managed to retain a single wooden crib elevator, a double composite elevator built by the Alberta Wheat Pool in 1974. This is what has replaced all the others, a concrete terminal built by Viterra in the 1990s. This terminal, one mile south of Trochu, has a capacity of 39,500 metric tonnes (ca. 1.5 million bushels) and a railcar capacity of at least 100 cars, with a five abreast siding.
