From the parking area at Todd Lake, off Cascade Lakes Highway west of Bend, travel generally NE on FR370 for about 3.5 miles. Turn right on a connector trail, continue for 0.2 miles, then hike northbound for about 1.2 miles on the Metolius-Windigo Trail #99 to a LOCATION POSTER and the corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe in collar of stones; rising 4"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 620' S of the trail. There is a bent-to-the-ground U-post, with no mounted sign, which bears N, 3' distant. Found two lodgepole pines and a mountain hemlock all with yellow BEARING TREE tags. The lodgepole pines have nails with brass washers stamped LS 2396. Also found a rock outcrop marked X BO [=bearing object] which bears S, 200' distant
