Depicted four classical clocks, with black dials, gilded Roman numerals and hands, are located on Renaissance bell tower of the Church of Ss. Peter and Paul (kostel Sv. Petra a Sv. Pavla) in Ledec nad Sázavou.
The first clocks were installed in belfry in 1541, but present clockwork (1999) is modern, electric and driven by satellite signal. The old dials and hands were completely replaced by new ones in 1994.
Gothic Church of Ss. Peter and Paul (Kostel Sv. Petra a Pavla), the principal architectonic landmark of town Ledec nad Sázavou, is also the parish church of Ledec Roman Catholic parish. The belfry was added later, in 1509, during reign of Ledec demesne owners - Jan Burian Ledecsky of Ricany and Zdenek Mezirícský of Lomnice.
