Mohutná tvrz, postavená koncem 13. st. zrejme pány z Kestran jako soucást písecké manské soustavy, pozdeji rozšírená a v 15. st. doplnená o celní palác. Dochována rada unikátních detailu – krížová žebrová klenba, sklípková klenba kaple, portály.

The massive fortress, built in the late 13th century. obviously for Lord of Kestran as part of Pisek feudal system, and later expanded in the 15th century, complemented by front palace. Preserved a number of unique details - cross-ribbed vault, vaults chapel portals.
