The Uniting Church (former Medthodist) church was nbuilt in 1888 and is in the Victorian Georgian stlye, built of local stone donated by members of the congregation and has rendered openings and buttresses, and an arched porch entry. The high pitched slate gable roof has a decorative spire.
In 1852 the Methodist minister of York built a chapel for the Aboriginal Mission, this subsequently became the Church Hall when the present church was constructed
The foundation stone was laid on the 25th April 1888 by Mrs Monger of Faversham House. The opening took place on the 22nd August of the same year
