Tvrz poprve kronikou zminena za Jana Vrabskehoho z Vrabi r. 1542. V roce 1586 tvrz koupil sam cisar Rudolf II. Za tricetilete valky byla tvrz poskozena Svedy, ale roku 1681 byla opravena. Jaroslav Schaller oznacuje r. 1788 vrabske sidlo jako zamecek. Kolem roku 1843 byla tvrz prestavena na sypku a od te doby pak chatrala. Asi od roku 1950 je tvrz vyuzivana jako skladiste, tim je dodnes. Dnes je tvrz v dobrém stavu.
Fortress mentioned for the first time in a chronicle in 1542 (John Vrabsky from Vrabi). In 1586 the fort was bought by Emperor Rudolf II. In the Thirty Years War, the fort was damaged by the Swedes, but was repaired in 1681. In 1788 Jaroslav Schaller mentioned Vrabi settlement as a lodge. Around 1843, the fort was rebuilt as granary and since then it fell into disrepair. Since 1950, the fortress was used as a warehouse until today. Today is in good condition.
