The disk is a US Geological Survey Bench Mark, stamped "Elevation Above Sea Level 661 Feet". It is mounted in a square of concrete set flush in the brick on the side of the Honeoye Falls Village Office. The Village Office is located on East Ave. in downtown Honeoye Falls, and the mark is directly to the left of two historical plaques on the front of the building.
