Le Lionisme a repris vie à Granby en 1984 après quelques années d’absence. Le Club Lions d’Acton Vale représenté par Lion parrain Marcel Ricard et du Lion guide Yvon Robert a fondé le Club Lions de Granby. La remise de charte eut lieu le 27 octobre 1984 aux 29 membres fondateurs sous la direction du président Dawson Parker. Le gouverneur à cette époque était Lion Claude F. Routhier. Lion Marcel Ricard est décédé le 29 juillet 2011.
Lions Club was revived in Granby in 1984 after several years of absence. The Lions Club of Acton Vale represented by Marcel Ricard sponsor Lion and Lion guide Yvon Robert founded the Lions Club of Granby. The Charter Night was held October 27, 1984 to the 29 charter members under the leadership of President Dawson Parker. The governor at that time was Leo F. Claude Routhier. Leo Marcel Ricard died July 29, 2011.
