This three-story brick building dates to 1790. It features an Italianate style molded cornice. The date "1790" can be seen at the corner left of the main entrance. In the 1850's, the house was extensively remodeled to an Italianate style, both externally and within.

Joshua Fisher, who built the house, served in the Delaware Legislature in the 1790s.
