Ina place that can tend toward the grand and hyperbolic, the Georgia Memorial is a spare, simple monument to courage and duty. It is one of Blasterz favorites.
The monument is made of grey granite. The state seal and these simple words are carved into it:
"GEORGE CONFEDERATE SOLDIERS
We sleep here in obedience to law.
When duty called, we came.
When country called, we died."
