This nice stone circle consists of 9 granite stones on a meadow within the grounds of Lochbuie house, not far from the sea. One of the original stones was removed and replaced by a boulder in recent times, but the other 8 stones are preserved. The largest stone in the circle is about 2m high.

There are also 3 other, outlying monoliths in different distances to the stone circle, the largest is 3m high.

There is no real path to the stone circle, but it is permitted to walk through the meadow starting from the bridge where one or two cars can park. A small sign at the gate indicates where to enter (see photo), then follow the white stones. It can be very boggy, so do not bring your finest shoes!

On the way through the meadow, you also pass a several stones under trees which are the remains of an ancient cairn.
