This great totem pole stands on the parking lot side of historic Clearwater Lodge off the Gunflint Trail. The figures included are Paul Bunyan at the base, Babe the blue ox above him, an Indian maiden, and an eagle at the top, very appropriate for this former lumbering area. The brightly painted wooden sculpture catches the eye of all who visit this beautiful lodge.
