Selby United Church is located at the corner of Pleasant and United Steets in the village of Selby, just north of Napanee, ON.
The church traces its roots to the proliferation of Methodist congregations in and around the Bay of Quinte in the 1850's. By the early 1870's the various local factions had amalgamated into the Methodit Church of Canada. The cornerstone for the Selby church was laid in 1875.
In 1925, The Selby Methodist Church joined with several other pprotestant denominations to become part of the United Church of Canada.
