Within the sanctuary of St. Paul's Cathedral, built in 1888, are eight plaques which honour past members of the congregation as well as men of Kamloops who did not return from World War I.

Born in Skelton, Yorkshire, England on December 27th, 1875 to Thomas Pattinson and Mary Atkinson, she passed away on April 5th, 1953 in Kamloops. Mary Ellen married Frank Morris and together they had four children. She is interred at Hillside Cemetery in Kamloops in Section S, Row 0016, Lot 0010, Sub Lot W.
