Chaparral Park in Scottsdale boasts a large fishing lake. Most fishermen use the grassy banks of the lake to fish, but there is a wheelchair-accessible pier for those who use them. It is located directly next to the handicapped parking spots and is accessed by two ramps. The railing on the pier is lowered to accommodate wheelchair users. There is another handicapped ramp that leads to the nearby restrooms.
