Private Marmaduke Christie Tunstall
Private Tunstall was a member of the 7th Battalion, British Columbia Regiment, Canadian Infantry, Canadian Expeditionary Forces, in World War I. He enlisted at Vernon, British Columbia on August 10th, 1915 at the age of 23 and was killed in battle of causes unknown on September 27th, 1916, barely one year later. His gravesite is unknown, and his name appears, along with the names of 11,000 other Canadians missing and presumed dead at the
Vimy Memorial in Pas de Calais, France.
