The clock face is a black, round plate with the marks painted, in gold, directly on to it. A gold ring runs around the edge of the face with the minute marks connected to it. The hour marks, that are poorly painted, are inside the minute marks and are Roman numerals with "IIII" being used instead of "IV" for the four. The hands are a simple design, painted gold, with the minute hand having a short tail.
