Dne 13.brezna 1951 došlo u 5.leteckého stíhacího pluku z letište Plzen - Líne k letecké katastrofe stíhacího letounu Avia S-199 výrobního císla 62. Jeho pilot porucík Zdenek Voženílek vzlétl z domovského letište v Líních na prelet po trati Plzen - Brno - Hodonín - Malacky. Tento prelet však mladý letec se solidním náletem 460 hodin nezvládl. Svévolne snížil výšku pod povolených 500 metru a pri malé rychlosti jeho letoun vlétl do nizské oblacnosti. Pozde tak spozoroval terénní prekážku, která se ocitla pred ním. Ostrou zatáckou doleva se prekážce pokusil vyhnout. Soucasne s prudkým zatocením doleva rychle pridal plyn pricemž gyroskopický moment vrtule letoun letící na malé rychlosti stáhl pod horizont a S-199 s trupovou imatrikulací GT-13 narazil v rychlosti 300km do lesa v Javureckém polesí nedaleko obce Javurek. Letoun dopadl asi 50 metru od paní Jamborové, která prý na míste omdlela. Porucík Voženílek na míste zahynul. Trosky letouny byly rozmetány do širokého okolí. Technická závada letounu byla vyloucena a jako prícinu vyšetrovací komise jednoznacne oznacila svévolné snížení výšky letu pilotem.

V míste katastrofy se do dnešních dnu dochoval pomnícek postavený na památku porucíka Zdenka Voženílka.

The site of the disaster to this day preserved a memorial built in memory of Lieutenant Zdenek Voženílek.
