Hrodno is a town in Belarus with huge historical significance, both to Belarus and to Poland (until the Second World War Hrodno was actually part of Poland). There is a tourism office, located in an odd and unexpected location, far from the center, even if close to the train station. Still, it's not so close that people arriving by train will spot it.
I used the tourism office and I had the most warm and friendly welcome I can remember in a place of this kind.
