On hwy. 3 north of cemetery is a dirt road that leads to the cemetery. Much easier then going through the barbed wire fence and you do not need to park on the highway. You can see the cemetery from the highway, it is on a knoll.

Hedley Cemetery is a most interesting place to visit as it dates back when Hedley was a booming mining town. The Nickel Plate Mine was discovered in the early 1890s.
The first known burial at the Hedley Cemetery took place in 1911. There are approximately 254 known burials based on available cemetery records. It is located in the Okanagan-Similkameen Regional District.
Many of the grave markers cite the flu epidemic for the fallen. Today mountain blue birds nest in boxes build along the fence posts.
Now mostly overgrown, this is considered a "ghost town" cemetery. Many are unmarked and "Known only to God".
