Les informations sont forgés dans les deux pages du livre de métal de bronze. En fait celui-ci date le début de la ville en 1821 comme paroisse.
1834-1934
Les 2 et 3 septembre St-Jérôme a célébré le centenaire de sa fondation comme paroisse canonique de 1821 à 1839. L’office divin se faisait une mission établie à un mille d’ici à la chapelle.
Le premier curé M. Blyth nommé en 1837 vécu d’abord a la chapelle.
En 1839 il vint demeurer a St-Jérôme même.
De cette époque date la vie paroissiale qui fut le point de départ du progrès de St-Jérôme et du développement agricole, commercial, industriel et touristique de cette vaste région du Nord dont St-Jérôme est surnommé la ville-Reine.

On 2 and 3 September St Jerome celebrated the centenary of its foundation as a canonical parish from 1821 to 1839 The Divine Office was a mission established a mile from here to the chapel.
The first pastor appointed Mr. Blyth in 1837 lived first in the chapel.
In 1839 he came to live in St-Jérôme same.
From this period dates parish life which was the starting point for the progress of St. Jerome and the agricultural, commercial, industrial and tourist center of this vast northern region including St. Jerome is nicknamed the Queen City.
