The depicted small Baroque Chapel of St. Theresa of Avila (Kaple Sv. Terezie z Avily), one of two waychapels hidden in former Carmelite convent garden, you can find in Vojanovy sady (Vojan's Garden) in Lesser Town of Prague.
The Baroque chapel, consecrated to St. Theresa of Avila, was an integral part of former Carmelitan' nuns convent garden (St. Theresa was intimately connected with reform of the Carmelite order). Chapel construction (1715 or 1734) was granted by Eleonora of Wallenstein (Eleonora z Valdštejna, later member of the convent). Autorship is unclear, but with high probability it was Eleonora of Wallenstein personal architect František Ignác Prée. The chapel is simple polygonal structure with chasuble-shape windows typical for Czech Baroque. Interior of the chapel is decorated by frecoes of Jan Karel Kovár (1745) depicting scenes from St. Theresa' life.
