The reason that the sign says "Over 99 Billion Served" is that this McDonald's is hard to miss after coming over the Ambassador Bridge, and the restaurant is always busy. Back in the day when QDV used to stop here, while en route to Stony Point or Leamington, "free wireless" meant that you owned a portable AM radio. The burgers here always looked like burgers, and at the time, they were still packaged in styrofoam boxes. The red maple leaf reminds you that things are a little different here, too: Be sure to ask for vinegar for your chips.
