This humble church building was built in 1883 for the Second German Church of New Jerusalem. They occupied the building until 1930. Since then it has been home to the Chiesa Diddio Christian Italian Pentecostal Church, The Italian Christian Congregational Church (1937-1956), Church of God Prophecy (1960-1972) It has served the Abyssinian Missionary Baptist Church since 1973.
