Bourkevale Park is located on the north bank of the Assiniboine River in the neighbourhood of Bruce Park in the St. James area of Winnipeg. It is home to the Bourkevale Community Club, the St. James Lawn Bowling Club, sports fields, and green space. A paved path through the park connects Ferry Road and Douglas Park Road, and continues on into Bruce Park, located just a little to the west. The coordinates given are for the east end of the path where it leaves the community centre parking lot. The area along the river bank is designated as an off leash dog area.
