This outstanding Mosaic can be visited adjacent to the Vernon Museum located at 3009 32nd Avenue. While there visit the museum. It is well worth your time, offering some great displays.

Fabrics of the World

Designed and created by a multicultural community of local volunteers, Fabrics of the World is a series of beautiful hand crafted mosaic tiles representing different cultures from around the world. The symbolic tiles provide a snapshot of immigration trends in Vernon over the past 10 years and this public art piece highlights diversity that exists in our community.

Funding for this project was provided by the Province of British Columbia through the Welcoming Communities. Local partners include the Downtown Vernon Association, Social Planning Council for the North Okanagan, Vernon District Immigration Services Society, and the City of Vernon.
